Tonight (Tuesday), as part of a targeted activity to prevent illegal residence offenses, Northern Border Guard soldiers and Northern District police officers worked in the city of Nazareth to locate illegal residents.
During the operation, the forces arrived at a building where they located 28 illegal residents, alongside a commercial quantity of goods whose owner's identity is unknown.
Later in the operation, the forces located a hiding apartment in which they located 11 members of the Sheba group, and another apartment in which the fighters captured 3 more.
In total, the forces arrested 42 illegal residents in three different apartments in the city of Nazareth.
An initial field investigation revealed that all of the illegal residents are residents of Gaza.
The arrested IDF officers and the seized goods were transferred for further investigation at Nazareth Station.
