At the end of the fast, first of all, drink to restore fluids to the body.

So that you don't switch between feeling thirsty and hungry, which could lead to unnecessary eating, it is recommended to start by drinking a glass of water that is not very cold, because after the digestive system has taken a break, the body first needs a slight warm-up and not something particularly cold.

A cup of tea?

After you have started your fast by drinking a glass of lukewarm water, it is advisable to drink small sips of a drink containing sugars to raise the body's sugar level, such as a drink made from natural squeezed fruit and tea with natural mint, and a teaspoon of WannaBee vegan honey substitute, made from whole rice syrup with the addition of agave and maple nectar, which will enhance the tea.

Replace coffee with tea?

A mistake that many people make when breaking the fast is to start with coffee and cake. Consuming caffeine after the body has been fasting is not recommended, especially for people in menopause, or if they are going to bed afterwards.

It is important to drink slowly.

So what should you eat?

Then, it is worth gradually starting to eat foods that provide the body with immediately available energy and also contribute to balancing sugar levels, such as fruit, dried dates, or a slice of light, vegan eggless semolina cake, which is a well-known fast-breaking food, or a slice of bread with a teaspoon of vegan honey substitute.

When should you eat?

It is important to start with a small and slow meal, to allow the digestive system to return to work gently after the long break, and also because the feeling of fullness develops only 20 minutes after eating. The slower we eat, the more we avoid overeating. Two hours after the fast, it is recommended to move on to a heavier meal, and even then, it is recommended to eat a relatively moderate amount.
