Yuval Steinitz, former minister and chairman of Rafael, husband of Supreme Court Justice Gila Kanfi-Steinitz, shared an opinion piece against Judge Yitzhak Amit on his WhatsApp status tonight (Tuesday).

The article, published in Yedioth Ahronoth, was written by Professor Yuval Elbashan - under the title: "A Red Flag for President Amit." The subtitle states: "The exposure of the exchange of blows between Supreme Court justices and President Amit is not juicy gossip but a true alarm."
The article comes against the backdrop of the announcement that Judge Amit is seeking a strategic advisor and crisis manager, in order to receive media advice for dealing with the storms in which he is involved.
Steinitz later responded to the uproar he caused following the sharing of the article: "There is no room for excitement or interpretations. This was a nightly typing error that was corrected (deleted) immediately in the morning and no significance should be attributed to it."
