Political-Security Cabinet member and Settlement Minister Orit Struck warned Prime Minister Netanyahu this evening (Monday) that if Israel does not lead to victory within a few days or weeks, the government will collapse.

"From our perspective, our position is that if we don't lead to victory, not in a time frame of years, but in a time frame of days, of a few weeks, if the prime minister doesn't show us how we lead to victory, then we have nothing to do there. We see no point in the existence of a right-wing government," she said.

Struck later added: "Nobody wants to overthrow a right-wing government, nobody, because we know what the alternative is. But if a right-wing government is doing the policies of the left, then why call it right-wing? What's the point? And so we will do everything we can."

She emphasized that all the progress made in the war so far was the result of pressure, both from members of the government, from the soldiers themselves, and from the general public. "In many ways, everything we have achieved so far has been achieved thanks to our pressure from within, and thanks to your pressure from without. The fighters on the ground, the commanders and the families, are the ones who made this war happen - not the echelons above them. They are the ones who pushed to really fight."

She later shared conversations she had with fighters and said that Netanyahu would also "completely understand" the message they were sending. She said: "I believe that we are from above, and the soldiers from below, who I speak to on a daily basis, are soldiers who are now in Gaza, and they all tell me, by the way, they all tell me, if we are the fifth round, soldiers told me now, last weekend, we are the fifth round in Gaza, our families are worn out, our businesses are bye bye, but if now we are going to decide, we are ready to continue, we are not ready to be smeared, but I understand that completely. I understand that completely."

The minister added: "The Prime Minister also needs to understand this completely, and he will understand this completely, I promise you. Therefore, we are determined that this is the time to bring about victory and nothing else, and as I told you just now, this is how the majority of the public thinks, certainly, most of the public that elected this government, and this is how we should act."
