During the visit, the Prime Minister honored the soldiers and commanders of the Intelligence Directorate for their activities in Operation 'Am Kalavi' in Iran, and praised their crucial contribution to bringing the advance intelligence, through multi-organizational cooperation, which led to historic success.
Netanyahu: "We have a job to complete - the elimination of Hamas, and we have a job to complete - the return of our hostages. We are not giving up on this even for a minute. These are two intertwined goals. But basically what they saw in Iran - there is no axis. This plan to destroy Israel is currently out of the question.
"The focus of the intelligence they brought, its quality, its scope, its depth - it simply amazed me, and gave enormous confidence to me and to my colleagues in the cabinet. Not everyone was a partner in this intelligence. This is a huge achievement of historic proportions. This achievement was achieved by the work of you and your colleagues who are not here."
Netanyahu emphasized: "This is a historic achievement. I'm not exaggerating and I'm not exaggerating either. With powerful capabilities and especially mission-oriented capabilities. I mean, it simply hit like an arrow that you send there, to that wall, and it hits exactly. And it repeated itself, and repeated itself, and repeated itself. And this is a huge component - this combination between the political echelon and the military echelon, and then the combination between intelligence and the air force and also in other branches. This combination brought about the result."
The Prime Minister added: "It's not over. We are still there to complete the missions on the axis. There are still two Hizbats there: Hamas and this group in the south, these savages. We will deal with them too. First and foremost, we have to preserve the achievement of eliminating the two basic threats: nuclear and ballistic missiles, and there will be more new threats. But in light of the capabilities you have demonstrated, I have no doubt that we can do it."
"You have played a huge part in the successes so far, and I wish all of us that you will continue to contribute your part to ensuring the eternity of Israel - and I want to thank you."
