After long months in which he was at the center of numerous media storms: Judge Yitzhak Amit is looking for a strategic advisor and crisis manager, apparently with the aim of receiving media advice on how to deal with the scandals in which he is involved.
Fast track or regular track: will you decide how to receive your money?
According to a report this evening (Sunday) by Aviad Glickman on Channel 13, Judge Amit's need for such a person became more acute in light of the numerous attacks on him personally and on the Supreme Court, especially after the hearing in the High Court of Justice Ronen Bar - when Amit was forced to stop the hearing several times, order the disruptors out of the courtroom, and flee to his room until the commotion passed.
According to the report, some of the candidates for the position have already been interviewed. A senior official in the judicial system said: "This is a difficult period for the Supreme Court in light of the multiple attacks. It is about the image of the judicial system and the importance of public trust."
Let us recall that Justice Minister Yariv Levin does not recognize Amit as the President of the Supreme Court, nor do the Speaker of the Knesset and senior ministers.
