US President Donald Trump referred this evening (Sunday) to the war in Gaza, the "hunger" in the Strip, and Israel's continued conduct against the terrorist organization Hamas - and declared: "Israel will have to make a decision about Gaza. I know what I would do - but it's not popular."

Fast track or regular track: will you decide how to receive your money?

Trump added: "Gaza is an international problem. It's not an American problem. People there don't eat properly, but without the US they would starve to death. Hamas is stealing the food. We gave $60 million in food to Gaza two weeks ago, no other country did that except us. Nobody thanked us or talked about it. It makes you feel bad, it would be nice if they said thank you."

"It's terrible when I see the children, especially in recent weeks – people stealing food and stealing money, and stealing money for food. It's a mess, this whole place is a mess."

He said, "Now we need to get the kidnapped people out - there are 20 alive kidnapped people. There are a lot of bodies and the parents want the bodies as much as they would want their child if he were alive. I met parents, it was so sad. It's as important as if the child was alive, these parents are devastated."

"I said that when we get to the last of the kidnapped, we won't be able to make a deal with Hamas, because as soon as they give them up, they know that will be the end of them - and that's true."

When asked about the impact of the disengagement on the situation in Gaza today, he said: "Gaza was given away many years ago so that there would be peace. It's not going well," the president clarified. "Whoever was the prime minister of Israel at the time and gave up on Gaza, that was an unwise thing to do. And that made the situation worse."

The US president also revealed a conversation with the prime minister on the Iranian issue. "I talked to Netanyahu about a lot of things. I talked to him about Iran. The Iranians were very nasty in their statements. They were dealt a blow. You can't give them nuclear weapons. They're still talking about enriching uranium. Who talks like that? It's so stupid. We won't allow it."

Against the backdrop of the failure of the negotiations in Doha, and the return of the Israeli and American delegations, US President Donald Trump addressed today (Sunday) the war in Gaza, the entire issue of "hunger" in the Strip, and Israel's continued conduct against the murderous terrorist organization Hamas: "Israel will have to make a decision regarding Gaza. I know what I would do, but I'm not sure I should say it."

"And," said the president, "...

"Israel will have to make a decision. I know what I would do, but I'm not sure I should say it."
