In recent days, an investigation has been underway at the Shefat police station in the Jerusalem district into an attack on a worker at a pool in northern Jerusalem.

Fast track or regular track: will you decide how to receive your money?

Immediately upon receiving the report of the attack, police were called to the scene - and after searches, the five defendants involved in the attack were arrested.

During their arrest, two of the defendants attempted to escape and attacked one of the police officers.

The arrested defendants were taken for questioning at the Sheft station, and during a hearing held in their case, the court ordered their release - and left two, who were involved in the violent incident and even attacked the police officer, under restrictive conditions.

From the investigation of the case and according to the facts of the indictment filed today by the Jerusalem District Police Prosecution Unit, it appears that in the evening hours of Tammuz 21, the defendants were at a country club in northern Jerusalem and were swimming in a pool. At one point, the operations manager approached and asked them to get out of the water - because the pool was closed, but the defendants refused to leave.

When the victim arrived at the scene and again asked the defendants to get out of the water and allow him to clean up, they responded by getting out of the water, picking up plastic chairs and violently slamming them at the victim.

When the victim tried to defend himself, one of the defendants took a stick and hit him in the head several times. When the locals arrived, the defendants fled, jumping over the compound fence.

As a result of their actions, the victim suffered a cut to his head and was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

The police forces quickly located the defendants who had fled the scene. The police officer called for the defendants to stop, and in response, they cursed at him and even turned on him and began to violently attack him - with one of the defendants biting the police officer on the hand.

The police officer took control of the defendants until they were arrested.

The police officer who was injured as a result of this attack was subsequently taken to the hospital for medical treatment with minor injuries.

Today (Sunday), upon completion of the investigation of the two - residents of Pisgat Ze'ev, aged 15 and 16, and after an evidentiary infrastructure was formulated that is now ripe for the filing of an indictment, an indictment was filed against them by the Jerusalem District Police Prosecution Unit for the offenses of injury by two or more people, injury when the perpetrator is armed, assaulting a police officer and using force or threats to prevent arrest.

This is alongside the request to remain in detention under the same restrictive conditions set by the court.
