This evening (Saturday night), fighters from Shayetet 13 took control of the pro-Palestinian aid activist ship 'Khandela', which was making its way to the Gaza Strip.

Fast track or regular track: will you decide how to receive your money?

The activists broadcast live the boarding of IDF forces onto the ship.

The footage shows IDF soldiers boarding the ship, and at that moment the activists sit down and raise their hands.

During the takeover, the activists sat and sang.

The ship will now be towed to the port of Ashdod.

One of the operatives contacted the El Arish port hours before the ship was taken over, informing them that the civilian ship was being threatened by Israel and requested access to Egyptian territorial waters to avoid Israeli harm.

The Egyptian official rejected the request.

Video: Here is the news

The flotilla set out from the city of Syracuse in Italy toward the Gaza Strip about two weeks ago with the aim of "breaking the siege on Gaza."

In the last few hours, an alarm was sounded on the ship, the participants wore life jackets, and claimed that they were preparing for a takeover.

The statement issued by the army stated: "The IDF is enforcing the security maritime closure on the Gaza Strip and is prepared for a variety of scenarios that it will activate in accordance with the directives of the political echelon."

One of the participants in the flotilla, a pro-Palestinian Jew from New York named Jacob Berger, who was on the ship, posted a video on Instagram in which he said: "We are here, 100 miles from Gaza, so tell Israel to kidnap us already."
