The Russian military launched hundreds of missiles and drones at populated cities across Ukraine over the weekend.

Fast track or regular track: will you decide how to receive your money?

More than a hundred missiles and suicide drones were fired at the city of Dnipro - the "capital of Ukrainian Jewry". One missile hit the top floor of a luxury apartment building in the city center, where one of the families of Chabad emissaries in the city - Rabbi Moshe and Shoshi Weber - lives.

As a result of the missile strike, two people were killed and dozens were injured. The Shluhaim family's apartment was damaged and partially destroyed, but they miraculously escaped unharmed.

Rabbi Weber, a veteran of the Chabad Shluchi in Ukraine, runs 'Kollel Torah' - a network of kollel institutions for Torah study operating throughout the world - especially in Europe and the former Soviet Union, with more than 5,000 members.

Rabbi Weber: "We had a huge miracle on Shabbat. The missile hit the building, and the balcony and part of our apartment were damaged, but thank God we are perfectly fine and unharmed. The upper part of the building caught fire and the fire alarm systems went off and we were forced to flee with the children in the dead of night to the street.

""We stayed outside in our pajamas for several hours with the kids until the firefighters took control of the fire and decided that the building was not in danger of collapsing and brought us back home. Now everything is fine. We had a miracle beyond nature.".

He added: "I attribute the miracle to our dedicated missionary activity here. We returned here only a few days ago after a month in which we ran a summer camp in Poland for hundreds of Jewish children from Ukraine. It was not easy to return here from peaceful Poland, straight into the war, but as Chabad missionaries, these are our lives: we are here for the benefit of every Jew who needs us.".

About the neighbors who were killed, he says: "Our hearts ache for the dear neighbors who were harmed, and together with the Jewish community in the city, which is considered the largest established community in Ukraine, we are trying to help as much as possible.".

Rabbi Meir Stambler, chairman of the Jewish communities in Ukraine, who has also lived with his family in Dnipro since the 1990s, said: "It was a very difficult night in Dnipro. I don't remember bombings so intense and in such large quantities - even though missiles are launched at us several times a week - since the beginning of the war three and a half years ago. We feel a significant escalation in recent months and we, the citizens, are experiencing it firsthand.".

He said, "This is the second time in the past month that a Chabad emissary has miraculously survived. As you may recall, more than a week ago a drone hit the car of Rabbi Yossi Wolf, the rabbi of the city of Kherson, who, God bless him, emerged unharmed.".

""The time has come to end this war and put an end to the terror that claims the lives of innocent civilians and soldiers on the battlefield every week. The Lubavitcher Rebbe's emissaries are here, despite everything, to assist every Jew physically and spiritually. It is not easy, it is challenging, but we do not abandon our mission. We pray for peace and the speedy arrival of the Messiah.".
