Earlier today (Thursday), the IDF eliminated terrorist Muhammad al-Amour from the Hamas terrorist organization in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, using an Air Force aircraft and with intelligence guidance from the Military Intelligence Directorate.
Al-Amor served as head of the goods terminal at the Rafah Crossing, and as part of his role, he managed hundreds of smugglings of weapons and military equipment into the Gaza Strip - and directly assisted in the strengthening of the Hamas terrorist organization.
Over the years, Al-Amor played a central role as part of the Hamas military wing's smuggling route to the Gaza Strip, commanding and leading the entry of weapons into the Gaza Strip and Hamas through aides.
For years, the goods terminal served as a gateway for smuggling military equipment and weapons into the Strip, thus providing a support for the terrorist organization in order to advance and strengthen its military against the State of Israel.
"The IDF will continue to act against the terrorist organization Hamas and protect the citizens of the State of Israel," an IDF spokesman said.
