The government meeting at which ministers were supposed to vote on the dismissal of Legal Advisor to the Government Gali Baharav-Miara, which was planned to take place this Sunday, has been canceled.

According to government sources, "the meeting will not be held next week in order to avoid dealing with charged and controversial issues among the people of Israel during the 'Nine Days' period, and due to a request from a number of religious ministers not to hold the impeachment during the 'Nine Days'."

The next meeting, which will be held on the Monday after Tisha B'Av, is expected to deal with the impeachment.

As reported in Haredim 10, the ministerial committee that met last Thursday unanimously decided to recommend the dismissal of Baharav-Miara.
