Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu addressed the government's moves in the Gaza Strip in an interview with Kol Berama radio today (Thursday), saying: "We are not racists and we only fight those who want to kill us."
In response to the presenter's statement that the government is rushing to a hostage deal, Minister Eliyahu said: "In the meantime, the government is rushing to wipe out Gaza. Thank God that we are wiping out this evil and pushing back the population."
The minister referred to the possibility of Jewish settlement in the Gaza Strip: "There will be no settlement within cantons. All of Gaza will be Jewish. There will be no settlement enclosed by a fence."
The minister added that the campaign surrounding the hunger in Gaza is part of a pressure campaign against Israel: "There is no hunger in Gaza. This is their campaign. They have a lot of trucks inside Gaza, so that the world will take care of them."
"The British didn't feed the Nazis in World War II, and that's how a nation fights - we shouldn't be messing with the hunger in Gaza."
