Special guest: Captivity survivor Agam Berger, a former IDF soldier, attended the 'tish' of the Rebbe of the History of Aharon on Shabbat night at the large Beit Midrash in the Mea Shearim neighborhood of Jerusalem - and was received with great excitement.
Agam watched 'Tish' from the Women's Aid.
During the tish, her father Shlomi Berger was called to the Rebbe, who encouraged him with words about the sanctification of his daughter's God and sent a piece of challah to pass on to his daughter.
As she left the table, many came out to wish her "Shabbat Shalom," and some spoke with her and her family.
Berger was a guest at a special Shabbat organized by the Jewish Connection organization for hundreds of preparatory school graduates held in Jerusalem and spoke about the path of faith and security in captivity.
Agam Berger became a symbol among the religious public for her observance of the Sabbath while in Hamas captivity and her insistence on preserving Judaism in the Gaza tunnels.
