With the end of the war with Israel, Iranian General Esmail Qaani, commander of the Revolutionary Guards' Quds Force, suddenly appeared at "victory" celebrations held in Revolution Square in Tehran.
Qaani, 62, was appointed commander of the Quds Force in 2020, after the force's legendary commander, Qassem Soleimani, was killed in an airstrike carried out by the US on the orders of Donald Trump at Baghdad airport. The force is also responsible, among other things, for carrying out terrorist attacks abroad.
