The Satmar Rebbe addressed the 'Pariki Avot' class, which takes place on Shabbat at the large Beit Midrash in the city of Kiryat Joel,
Operation 'Am Kolavi' against Iran - and claimed that there was now "no tangible danger" that the Iranians intended to attack, but Netanyahu started the war only to save the coalition.

Haredim 10 delivers the sermon.

Among the things said about the Mishnah, "He who accepts the yoke of Torah, the yoke of earthly life is removed from him" - the Rebbe said:

"I want to talk about the difficult period that has been experienced in the past week by all of Israel throughout the world, and in particular by all of Israel residing in the Holy Land.

This is not the first time that the State of Israel has gone to war. About sixty years ago, there was the Six-Day War, which was quite close to what happened now. But the difference since then is that the fear throughout the Holy Land was not so great, only on the borders. This time, because of the ballistic missiles, they live in terrible fear.

No one knew what was coming, missiles and the whole building shaking, all the houses shaking, the residents of the Holy Land sitting in shelters in fear and hearing the sounds of the falls. Outside, swords are heard and terror enters the rooms... Although the physical injuries are quite low, the injuries to the souls of people, women and children are indescribable. Our brothers, the Israelites, are in great trouble.

But here in New York, Jews are also living in great danger, hearing the news and rejoicing - they succeeded with this operation and this attack. The Jews who live in fear in the bunker don't talk like that.

Also in 1967, the Zionists lied to the world that the goal of the war was to save the Jewish people living in the Holy Land, claiming that the Egyptians wanted to destroy them. But who knows the truth, the goal of the war then was control of the Suez Canal, control of money, and the Zionists fought for nothing.

The same thing is happening now, the Iranians want to destroy all Jews, they are evil, but they are not the only ones, and there was no tangible danger now that they intended to attack.

But what was it? The prime minister's fear that the coalition would fall. Anyone who followed a little knew that because of the decree on conscription of yeshiva students, the haredi Knesset members wanted to leave the coalition - and he had no other choice but to save his government, only by war.

"Think carefully, the war is only to save his rule, and it is only because of this that over twenty Jews were killed, it is only because of this that the residents of the Holy Land have been living in fear and terror for a week. This entire war is a purely political war and he is ready to abandon all of Israel throughout the world in order to survive politically."

The Rebbe continued: "'He who takes upon himself the yoke of Torah,' he thinks according to Torah, he is not connected to all sorts of WhatsApp groups and other nonsense, he does not listen to news, he walks in the ways of Torah, he passes the yoke of the land to see the real reason for the war.

May God save us, all of Israel is in great danger. It is a time of trouble for Jacob, physically, but more than that, spiritually.

The decree on the conscription of yeshiva students has come into full force. A yeshiva student or a kollel avrech will not be able to obtain a driver's license, open a credit card, and other decrees. They will be like before the Holocaust, the young men who were 'hidden and disappeared.'

May God, the Blessed One, save us from the wicked Gentiles and also from the wicked Jews. May the place have mercy on them in all their settlements, to be saved from every trouble and hardship. May we soon merit the abolition of the Zionist state without any harm or pain to any Jew. We will not know how it will be, but God is omnipotent and does not need our advice. May we soon merit the coming of our righteous Messiah in our days. Amen."
