About a week ago, police officers at the Netanya police station arrested two suspects in a violent robbery committed against a foreign national from India in the city of Netanya.

According to the police statement, the victim was robbed of thousands of shekels – but demonstrated extraordinary resourcefulness that contributed to the capture of the attackers.

The incident occurred when the two suspects - residents of Netanya and Hadera, aged 29 and 31 - robbed the victim and fled the scene in a vehicle.

The victim managed to write down the license plate number – not on a piece of paper, but on the paving stones, using white chalk – which significantly assisted the police in locating them.

Police forces began searching immediately upon receiving the report, and located the vehicle and the suspects within a short time.

The two were arrested and their detention was extended according to the needs of the investigation.

Yesterday (Sunday), a prosecutor's statement was filed against them, and in the coming days, an indictment is expected to be filed against them for the charges against them.
