Argentine President Javier Milay, who is paying a state visit to Israel, presented the Prime Minister this evening (Tuesday) with a special painting of Netanyahu with the Lubavitcher Rebbe.

On Thursday, we salute national-civilian service personnel from Haredi society: Want to participate?

The Argentine president is a great admirer of the Rebbe and has even visited his grave in the cemetery in the Queens borough of New York several times.

Netanyahu, who was moved by the sight of the painting, told the Argentine president about his meetings with the Rebbe and his words, before returning to Israel, upon the end of his term as ambassador to the UN: "You will have to struggle with 119, he didn't even leave me one!""

The painting was received by President Millay, Chabad emissaries in Argentina, Rabbi Zvi Greenblatt and his son-in-law Rabbi Chaim Oirchman.

It all began when, in honor of the Lubavitcher Rebbe's last birthday on the 11th of Nissan, Milley was presented with a spectacular painting in which he supposedly met with the Rebbe.

Millay fell in love with the painting and expressed his desire to give a similar painting to Prime Minister Netanyahu. Rabbi Daniel Benyon of the Chabad Hasidim in Buenos Aires, on whose initiative the paintings were made, immediately got involved and successfully completed the task.

Rabbi Oirchman says that after Milley received the painting of Netanyahu and the Rebbe, he also asked to watch a video that documented Netanyahu's visit to the Rebbe, in order to feel and experience the emotional moment firsthand - before he presented the painting to the Prime Minister.
