The investigation was completed, and a prosecutor's statement was submitted, in preparation for the filing of an indictment.
The robbery took place on May 5, at 2:47 a.m., when the police hotline received a report of a robbery at a gas station on Levi Eshkol Street in Kiryat Ono.
The two, masked and wearing ski masks and gloves, entered the store armed with a plastic dummy gun, forced the employees into the warehouse, robbed them of money, packs of cigarettes and other products, locked the employees up - and fled.
Shortly thereafter, another report was received of a suspicious vehicle that had breached a checkpoint in Ariel and on Dokranim. The vehicle, which turned out to have been taken off the road and its license plates duplicated, was abandoned and the suspects fled on foot.
An emergency squad located them at a construction site on Almog Street in Ariel, where 800 NIS in cash and a wristwatch hidden in a drain opening were also found.
The suspects: a 22-year-old resident of Kafr Akeb and a 19-year-old ISA officer from Kafr Burj, were arrested by Ariel police officers and brought for questioning at the Masovim police station.
Their detention has been extended from time to time, and now, as stated, the prosecution intends to file an indictment.
