This morning (Sunday), citizens in Moshav Yardena in the Spring Valley discovered two infiltrators from Sri Lanka.
They called the security forces and the infiltrators were arrested and taken for questioning.
The IDF said: "A short time ago, a report was received that two suspects crossed the border and arrived at Moshav Yardena in the Valley and Valleys Brigade. IDF forces rushed to the spot and arrested the suspects.
"The suspects were transferred to the security forces for further treatment. There were no casualties among our forces and there is no fear of a security incident. These are two migrant workers, the incident is being investigated."
A similar incident occurred yesterday: civilians identified an infiltrator trying to penetrate Israel and arrested him near Kibbutz Shaar HaGolan. In this case too, the IDF was called and arrested the infiltrator.
It later turned out that he was a migrant worker who tried to infiltrate Israel through the border.
The regional council said: "Thanks to the vigilance of residents from Kibbutz Shaar HaGolan, a foreign citizen was caught who crossed the Jordanian border and arrived near the kibbutz fence." The council added: "There is no change in the instructions for residents - and we are in full routine."
