The country is very, very good: In an interview that presenter Ma'ayan Adam conducted on Channel 12 with a couple of new immigrants who arrived in Israel about six months ago from Argentina, the two spoke about their integration and expressed their love for the country and the state.
But then they encountered a surprising request. During the broadcast, after the immigrants shared their experiences and expressed satisfaction with their move to Israel, the presenter turned to them: "Here in Israel, you can't do an interview with only good things." Then she implored the pair: "Find me one bad thing - that will calm us down. One.".
The interviewee replied: "To succeed in life, in things, you have to see the good in everything.".
When her husband tried to join her and try to ask if there was anything wrong here, his wife stopped him and said firmly: "I feel like this is our place - so it's good. And we need to see the good.".
