At the Dachau concentration camp, his team documents the horrors of the National Socialist extermination policy. They also film one of the evacuation transports from the death camps in the East. Stevens: "It was like walking through Dante's visions of hell."
In early May, press photographers arrive at Obersalzberg, Hitler's private retreat in the Alps.
