United Hatzalah today (Monday) launched a new operational center in Bnei Brak, which will serve as a central control center for the organization's emergency activities throughout Israel.
The new center is equipped with a groundbreaking artificial intelligence (AI) system, which enables early prediction of medical emergencies and dynamic adjustment of the deployment of emergency forces - which will allow for improved response times for rescue forces.
The innovative system is able to analyze data in real time, identify patterns, and predict where medical emergencies are likely to occur.
Accordingly, United Hatzalah ambulances and volunteers will be able to approach strategic points, even before the first call to the hotline, thereby significantly shortening response times and saving lives.
President and founder of United Hatzalah, Eli Bir: "Establishing the new hotline represents a leap forward in the treatment of medical emergencies. We combine the best technologies with the dedication of thousands of volunteers, with the goal of reaching every patient as quickly as possible. The AI system will allow us to prevent unnecessary delays and provide primary care at a critical time."
Director of the Hotlines Division, David Salah: "The hotline in Bnei Brak joins the national hotline located at the organization's headquarters in Jerusalem, but its uniqueness is the ability to adjust the deployment of forces in advance, even before a call for help is received. The system is based on advanced algorithms that learn from patterns of previous emergency calls, weather data, traffic loads and other parameters - thus creating accurate predictions about high-risk areas in real time."
The launch of the new center is part of a global trend of integrating smart technologies into emergency medicine, and United Hatzalah is leading the field in Israel with a vision to improve the emergency medicine system throughout the country.
