Joining the wave of price increases: Osem Nestle announced today (Thursday) a price update for some of the company's products starting January 1, 2025. Products such as coffee, chocolate and pastries, ketchup and sauces, Tivaul and Tsabar salads will increase in price by an average of between 4% and 9%. Coffee is increasing in price by 9 percent, ketchup by 5 percent, sauces by 7 percent, Tivaul and Tsabar products by 8 percent, and chocolate and pastries by up to 7 percent. The Fati Bar is increasing in price by 4 percent. According to the company's announcement, the price increase "partially compensates for significant increases in the prices of raw materials and packaging, production costs and logistics costs at the company's factories in Israel." Osem Nestle's announcement comes one day after Unilever also announced a price increase of the company's chocolate products by 16%. According to Unilever, the price increase is due to them "being unable to continue to absorb the increase in cocoa costs.".
