Kish tweeted: "In light of the strategic change in our region and the uncertainty and many challenges facing the Prime Minister and the State of Israel, I call on the judges and the Attorney General's Office to reconsider postponing the Prime Minister's appearance in court by three months.".

He concluded his remarks: "In light of the dramatic changes, insisting on holding the discussion during this period would be wrong and irrelevant.".

The Prime Minister's Office asked members of the Knesset this morning not to be interviewed about the events in Syria. Omar Dostri, the Prime Minister's spokesman, issued a directive: "Interviews should not be given in the context of the events in Syria without prior approval. This includes tweets.".

On Friday, Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana addressed the judges of the panel and demanded that they coordinate with him the dates for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's testimony in his trial. Ohana explained his request by saying that Netanyahu's presence in the Knesset this coming Wednesday is required, since there is a special meeting with the President of Paraguay.

The Prime Minister responded to Ohana's request and asked to change his testimony on Wednesday so that it would begin at noon: "The law applies even if there is no immunity, and to the extent that the Prime Minister believes that there are votes in the Knesset that require his presence - of course this should be allowed.".

Netanyahu's response also stated that he "will make every effort to find parliamentary solutions that will not require his presence in all votes, but to the extent that he believes his presence is required, he should be allowed this presence, in accordance with the requests he submits.".
