According to a report by Yair Altman on Channel 14, during the meeting, he was told that there was a desire to whitewash the affair. The official urged MK Cohen not to let it go. An indictment was filed against the lieutenant, who is suspected of impersonating an intelligence officer with the rank of captain, entering the intelligence headquarters and recording secret conversations, but a gag order was imposed on the serious affair. MK Cohen spoke about the meeting with the legal official: "I was told that they are conducting discussions in certain cases, carrying out prioritizations and actions that affect them… I will not elaborate on this because this is an unusual event. He told me that this was a cover-up, and he shouted to me that I would not give up and that I would not let go. I cannot reveal his connection to the case, but the truth will be revealed in the end, I am not afraid for a moment.“ The prosecutor’s office said in response to Channel 14: ”Beyond the fact that the case is under a publication ban and in any case nothing can be published about it, we do not refer to investigative materials, and this does not confirm or deny that the information in your request is contained in it."
