Residents of the Torah and Hasidic city of Bnei Brak discovered this morning (Sunday) to their dismay that swastikas had been carved into structures at a central playground on Abarbanel Street in the city - near dozens of educational institutions and kindergartens. A resident of Kiryat Herzog claimed that he contacted the municipal hotline but was told that they were not handling the matter because "they are not involved in this." Yaakov Wider, a member of the city council who received inquiries from residents, demanded that the municipality immediately ensure that the Nazi symbols are erased from the structures. Wider added: "It is expected that the law enforcement agencies, which are making tremendous efforts to catch every sprayer of 'price tag' graffiti, will treat this case with great severity and make every effort to catch those responsible for this." The Bnei Brak municipality has not yet received a response.
