In the amount of hundreds of millions of NIS: The Ministry of Defense and the Home Front Command are publishing a large-scale tender for the deployment of technological security components in dozens of communities on the northern border. The tender is being published as part of the lessons of the war and the new preparations to strengthen the security components in the communities on the northern border. The tender includes the planning and construction of a technological security package for the communities, including physical infrastructure, detection and warning means, operational command centers, command and control systems, and more. The tender also includes maintenance for three years, with the possibility of extension. The Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Maj. Gen. (Res.) Eyal Zamir, approved the tender, which is being led by the Engineering and Construction Division and the Settlement Unit in the Ministry of Defense, the Home Front Command, and the Northern Command in the IDF. The Ministry of Defense is inviting companies in the fields of ICT and technology to participate in the tender.
