A survey conducted by the Kantar Institute and published this evening (Thursday) in 'Kan News' shows that if the Knesset elections were held today, the Likud party, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, would win 24 seats, overtaking the National Camp party led by Benny Gantz - which receives only 21 seats.

The third largest party according to the survey is Yisrael Beiteinu, led by Avigdor Lieberman, with 14 seats. Next is Yesh Atid, led by Yair Lapid, with 13.

Shas, led by Aryeh Deri, wins 10 seats, followed by the Democratic Party, led by Yair Golan, Otzma Yehudit, led by Itamar Ben-Gvir, and United Torah Judaism, led by Yitzhak Goldknopf - all three with eight seats each.

At the bottom are Hadash-Ta'al and Ra'am, led by Mansour Abbas, with five seats each, and Religious Zionism, led by Bezalel Smotrich, with only four seats.

Balad, led by Sami Abu Shehadeh, and the State Right, led by Gideon Sa'ar, are below the threshold.

The picture of the blocs according to the survey: The current coalition bloc - 54 seats, the current opposition bloc - 56 seats. The Arabs - 10 seats.

New right-wing party takes down Likud

In a scenario in which a new right-wing party is established ahead of the next elections, led by Naftali Bennett, Avigdor Lieberman, and Gideon Sa'ar, the picture changes and this party becomes the largest with 28 seats. Likud follows by a significant margin with 21 seats, and the third largest party is the state camp with 16 seats.

Even in the new party scenario, Yesh Atid is the fourth largest party, with 11 seats, and Shas is fifth with ten.

The Democratic Party, United Torah Judaism, and Otzma Yehudit also stand in this scenario with eight seats each. At the bottom of the list are Hadash-Ta'al and Ra'am with five seats each.

Religious Zionism and Balad do not pass the threshold.
