These days, the Ministry of Economy and Industry published the Banks' Friendliness Index for Small and Medium-sized Businesses for 2023, which ranks Mercantile Bank in first place with an index score of 94 - the highest score among the banks measured, and by a large margin from the bank ranked in second place.
This is a significant achievement that positions Mercantile as the leading bank in the small and medium-sized business sector.
The index is based on five parameters that make up the overall score: the extent of the bank's credit to small and medium-sized businesses out of total business credit, the ratio of interest to credit risk that small and medium-sized businesses receive from the bank, the bank's profitability rate from non-interest income (various fees), a business satisfaction survey with the banks, and feedback from financial advisors about the banks.
In the index component, which is based on a satisfaction survey conducted by the agency among small and medium-sized businesses, Mercantile Bank was ranked first, with the parameters for which the bank received the highest rating being the bank's level of attention to the needs of the business, the bank's availability, satisfaction with using the bank's application/website, and the extent to which the bank has come forward to serve the business following the war.
