The Hamas terrorist organization today (Saturday) released the first sign of life from the 51-year-old abductee Nadav Poppelwell, who was kidnapped from Kibbutz Nirim in the October 7 terror attack. Nadav is the son of Hanna Perry, who was released from Hamas captivity, and the brother of Roy Yad, who was murdered by Hamas terrorists on that Black Sabbath. In the video, Poppelwell, 51, is seen speaking with a bruised face. It is unclear when the video was filmed. The body of his brother Roy Yad was found about a day after the kidnapping of their mother and Nadav. Nadav's mother, Hanna Perry, was released from captivity in the first round of the kidnapping deal in November. In an interview with the Daily Mail on January 13, Ayelet Swetitzky, Poppelwell's sister, said that her mother would not be able to bear the burying of another son in the family. Ayelet said that her mother, Hanna, and her brother Nadav were in the tunnels together, and Hanna testified that Nadav lost a lot of weight during the captivity. Ayelet added that Nadav is diabetic and asthmatic and therefore needs medication and inhalers. About two weeks ago, Hamas released a video of the abductees Keith Siegel, who was kidnapped from Kibbutz Kfar Aza, and Omri Miran, who was kidnapped from Kibbutz Nahal Oz. In the video, the two abductees said that it was allegedly filmed on the 202nd day after their kidnapping. They also talked about not being able to celebrate Passover with their family this year.
