How to make a winning dish: Salmon fillet in almond crust and orange sauce

Ingredients:

Whole salmon fillet weighing 1 to 1½ kg
2 tablespoons olive oil
Orange juice from 2-3 oranges
1/2 sliced orange
A piece of chopped horseradish
3 chopped garlic cloves
A pinch of sea salt
A pinch of ground black pepper

For the almond crust:

3/4 cup almonds
4 crushed garlic cloves
6-8 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt

How to prepare:

  • Prepare the crust. Place in a food processor and process well.
  • Place the salmon fillet in a baking dish. Pour olive oil over it. Pour the orange juice into the dish as well, sprinkle the crust over the fish.
  • Place the orange slices on top of the salt and pepper, and bake for 10-15 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
