Over the weekend, the Iranian PressTV network published a photo of Farshav Dizai, a prominent businessman in Erbil, Iraq, who was killed in an Iranian missile attack, photographed together with the Chief Rabbi of Russia, Rabbi Berel Lazar - in an attempt to prove that Dizai had connections to the Israeli Mossad.

The article - titled "Iraqi oil tycoon killed in Revolutionary Guard attack was key Mossad figure in Erbil" - was published after Iran's missile attack last week on what the Iranians called "the Israeli Mossad base" in the city of Erbil in northern Iraq.
Among those killed in the attack, which caused much destruction, was Parshaw Dizai, whom Iran is trying to link to the Mossad. The article stated that "the oil tycoon, a multimillionaire Kurdish, shared close ties with the Mossad and made a fortune from the illegal export of Iraqi oil to the Tel Aviv regime."
The article further stated: "According to a security source, the presence of Dizai and his associates at the spy compound in Erbil suggested that a meeting of great importance was taking place at the time of the attack."
The article also stated that "the building that was destroyed by the Revolutionary Guards' missile strike, according to the security source, 'was owned by him and regularly hosted meetings' between him and senior Mossad officials, and was the place where many terrorist and sabotage attacks against Iran were planned."
The network's website also noted that "while the mainstream media's focus has been mainly on Dizai's vast business empire and his closeness to the Barzani family that rules Kurdistan, his close connection with the Israeli spy agency has recently gone unnoticed."

Among the photos presented in the PressTV article, as "establishing his connection with the Mossad," was a photo of Dezai with Rabbi Lazar - and it was written: "Show off Majid Dezai, with a Zionist rabbi, at an event celebrating the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur."
