A few days after the horrific massacre on Shabbat Simchat Torah, the Chabad Kollel and the HaTsinor program, presented by media personality Guy Lehrer, launched a joint initiative: a fundraising campaign for residents of the Gaza Strip, with every shekel donated by the public being doubled by the Kollel and the Friendship Foundation.
After the first millions were distributed, through an organized system, to 3,500 residents of the Gaza encirclement, the project moved to the second phase: encirclement in the reserves.
The aid is being sent to the field, and in recent days the families of the reservists, who give their lives defending the inhabitants of the Holy Land, have been receiving aid of thousands of shekels each, through 'Kollel Chabad' purchase cards.

The cumulative aid amounts to millions of shekels.
Upon receiving the purchase cards, the families of the reservists expressed their immense gratitude to the people of the 'Kollel' for joining the initiative that is helping them get through these difficult days, especially the economic challenges.
