After a discussion with the Galei Tzahal content team and consideration of the alternatives: The deputy commander of Galei Tzahal, Danny Zaken, decided to stop broadcasting the news editions of the television channels at 8:00 PM, on the military station.
The news is currently broadcast on channels 12 and 13 alternately.
In their place, the station will produce independent and original content.
At Galei Tzahal, we informed the channel managers about the planned separation and thanked them "for the period of broadcasting the programs on the station."
The statement from Galei Tzahal reads: "This was born out of an aspiration to create independent and original content for the station at the aforementioned time.
"Further details about the new strip will be announced later."
