Towards Passover: Star Mizrahi Hasidim singer Itzik Dadia releases another single called "Yerushalim", from his third album, which will be released in the summer - and for the first time, the single is being distributed to surfers, via a free download link. In the current song, Dadia sings about the intense longing for a rebuilt Jerusalem and the constant need to remember every day the destruction of the Temple and Jerusalem, and the aspiration to win and see it rebuilt. "As an artist who often appears in weddings," says Dadia, "I am moved every time by the part where the groom recites the verse 'If Jerusalem forgets you, forget my right hand..' And I wanted to compose a beautiful and moving melody that would suit this situation in which a couple stands under the wedding canopy at the greatest moment of their lives, remembering the destruction of Jerusalem and longing for its rebuilding." And so, after several fast and rhythmic songs that he recently released, this time Itzik returns to the old and familiar style that so characterized him in the past, and releases a quiet and moving song that touches the soul and vibrates every listening ear. The lyrics from the Psalms were composed by arranger Yoeli Dikman, who was also entrusted with the musical production, and in a masterful manner he presents a perfect track that suits Dadiya's pure and clear voice.
