The possibility is being examined that the paramedic who arrived in the area was unable to find the house where a person collapsed because he had only partial information - due to a procedure agreed upon between MDA and United Hatzalah.

Listen to the full interview with Adam Ariel's mother online at:

Adam's mother, Miri Alaev, told Liat Regev in an interview on the program: "My child would have been alive if he had received the treatment in time.".

Miri said in a conversation with her that people who came to her son's shiva told of similar incidents. The mother added: "Some said they were passing by an MDA station and it was empty.".

According to the procedure agreed upon between MDA and the United Rescue Team, during an emergency, the five rescuers closest to the scene receive the exact details about the incident, and the other drivers receive partial information, with some of the details blacked out.

In this incident, the ambulance arrived at the scene from another city and the paramedic who was in the area and arrived before it was unable to find the house - suspected to be because he received partial information.

The document summarizing the baby's hospitalization at Sheba Hospital states that he arrived at the hospital in critical condition after prolonged resuscitation at home, and that a few hours after his arrival he underwent an urgent brain CT scan that revealed an image consistent with brain damage due to a lack of blood supply to the brain.

In response, MDA stated that at the time of receiving the call, the MDA intensive care unit and ambulance operating at the launch point in Yehud were busy with other emergencies. The nearest intensive care unit was dispatched to the scene, and in accordance with the Ministry of Health circular, immediate response units from all organizations were dispatched. Units from Magen David Adom and United Hatzalah who were in the area arrived simultaneously with the intensive care unit within nine minutes.

Until the teams arrive at the scene, MDA's 101 hotline will provide a telephone briefing on performing CPR.

United Hatzalah declined to comment on the details of the case, but said that the United Hatzalah management is currently working with the Ministry of Health management to improve the problem of connecting and locating the drives that have not yet been dispatched to incidents, even though they are close to the incident and can help save lives.
