Former US President Donald Trump addressed billionaire Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter in an interview with Fox News last night, stating that he would not return to Twitter if his account were now restored. "I hope he buys Twitter because he will make improvements to it and he is a good man," he said in the interview, "but I plan to stay on Truth Social" - Trump's social network. Twitter permanently banned Trump in January 2021, citing concerns about "the risk of further incitement to violence" following the Capitol break-in, and he has since been blocked on other social networks and has established an independent network that has been successful, but then encountered significant technical difficulties.
