An officer and two police detectives from the Jerusalem District who were involved in the violent arrest of Haim Mizrahi in the Geula neighborhood last Wednesday have been questioned since noon (Sunday) at the Police Investigations Department on suspicion of assaulting the young Haredi man. Has it been three months since your second vaccination? This is how you will protect yourself from the virus Did you divide? For thousands of years we dreamed of Jerusalem, so now we want to dirty it? On Saturday: The mother rested, the child pulled the trigger – and was hospitalized in serious condition The police officers were also questioned on suspicion of obstruction of justice. A statement from the Police Investigations Department said: "We would like to inform you that the Police Investigations Department today questioned three police officers, including an officer, under a warning, on suspicion of assaulting a citizen during his arrest in the Geula neighborhood in Jerusalem last week. The police officers were also questioned on suspicion of obstruction of justice. At the end of the investigation, the three were removed from police stations for four days and were prohibited from contacting those involved regarding the investigation. The investigation is still ongoing." The detectives deny the allegations against them and claim that they were forced to use force against Mizrahi after he attacked them. Unfortunately for them, there is extensive documentation from the scene. As reported in Haredim 10, Mizrahi was brutally beaten by undercover police officers and detained for questioning, after he told them that they had damaged a parked vehicle in the Geula neighborhood. The magistrate's court judge severely criticized the police and released Mizrahi from custody without any conditions. The police filed an appeal with the district court against the release, but this afternoon withdrew the request.
