Amit Segal, the senior political commentator for News 12, told followers of his Instagram account today (Sunday) that opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu will not succeed in forming a coalition of 61 in the Knesset - without a new right-wing party being established. Segal wrote: "Without a new right-wing party, Netanyahu will not achieve 61. He needs a center-right party that will bring votes from a camp other than Bibi. If he doesn't do that, he will not return to power." Segal wrote in his weekly column in the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper last Friday: "The Likud has recently started courting familiar figures in order to establish a party that will finally crush Yamina and shrink religious Zionism. Netanyahu likes his partners small and obedient, and Smotrich is not obedient and is no longer so small.".
