Last night, near midnight, a report was received at the ZAKA international hotline that a 58-year-old Jew who runs a kosher restaurant in the city of Tangier, Morocco, was murdered by a street vendor who ate at his restaurant.
The medical forces called to the scene were forced to declare him dead at the scene.

After many efforts, with the progress of the investigation and the denial of a nationalist motive, we were able to prevent the autopsy of the deceased's body and he was released for burial. His coffin will be flown at the beginning of next week for burial in Israel, where he will be laid to rest in the cemetery in Ashdod.".
