The newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth featured this morning (Thursday), in the headline, the dramatic testimony of a doctor fighting for the lives of coronavirus patients - and his attack on vaccine opponents. ''I wish, I wish I could invite vaccine opponents to work shift with me so I could see up close what a person struggling to breathe looks like, when people around him are already sedated and on ventilators, and he's wearing a mask that hides his entire face, screaming and crying that he can't breathe. ''And his screams are muffled, barely audible outside the mask. He squirms and changes position, wants to get out of bed, move, stand up, sit up. Anything that will help him get a little more oxygen into his body. He doesn't understand that every scream he makes weakens him more, he can't breathe. ''Have you ever seen a person drowning? This is exactly what it looks like. The hospitalized person removes the mask, thinking it will help, and immediately his sedation falls off. We run and put the mask back on, begging him not to take it off. We ask him not to move, because with every movement, every movement, we are afraid that his infusion will come out, and then we will have to prick him again. "But logic does not work with someone who is in a panic, with someone who is slowly suffocating. The only thought, the only desire is to try to breathe, as deeply as possible. But it is impossible." The doctor sharply attacks the opponents of vaccinations: "Do you know what the difference is between you and those who were not vaccinated, and are now lying sedated and on a ventilator? They believed everything you wrote.".
