Benzi Gopstein and his war at the wedding of Mahmoud Mansour and Moral Malka

The Lehava organization, which works to prevent assimilation, is stirring up social media after publishing a call on the organization's Facebook page to prevent the wedding of Mahmoud Mansour, an Arab resident of Jaffa, to Morel Malka, which is scheduled to take place this Sunday in Rishon LeZion. "יום ראשון כולנו בראשון! נבלה נעשתה בישראל! אנחנו לא שותקים אנחנו מגיעים למחות. תבואו עם שלטים ורמקולים. בשם ה' נעשה ונצליח! שתפו לכולם! לצערנו זה אמיתי", נכתב אתמול בעמוד הפייסבוק של הארגון, בצירוף צילום ההזמנה לחתונה. הפוסט פורסם בין היתר באמצעות דף עמוד הפייסבוק החדש של ארגון להב"ה בשם 'לא יכבו את הלהב"ה'. זאת, לאחר שהעמוד הרשמי הקודם של הארגון הוסר על ידי פייסבוק לפני כחודשיים, בעקבות מתקפת תלונות גולשים על הארגון, כארגון בעל מוטיבים גזעניים, המקדם תכני הסתה. כצפוי, לא כל הגולשים אהבו את קריאת הארגון לבוא ולשבש את החתונה. כך, לדוגמא, כתבה יעל בעמוד הפייסבוק של הארגון: ''אתם בורים, אתם גזענים, אתם נבערים ואתם שוללי זכות הקיום. אתם מתכוונים להרוס לזוג את יום שמחתו במחאה מלאת השנאה שלכם, המחאה הגזענית שנוגדת את צווי התורה וצווי ה' 'ואהבת לרעך כמוך'. למי מכם יש ילדים? האם אתם מחנכים גם את הילדים שלכם לשנאת חינם הזו? איך אתם מסוגלים להסתכל על עצמכם במראה?" Benzi Gopstein, founder and director of the Lehava organization, says there are many mixed marriages in Israel - why this particular mass protest? Benzi: "Events of this type always take place quietly and in Arab villages. But here, this is the first time I've encountered a situation where there is legitimacy, both in the printing of the invitation and on the part of the hall owner, for taking such an extreme step - in public.". Is there anyone backing you up? ""I received guidance and instruction from the leader that I must not remain silent, and that I must protest against the owners of the hall who enable and support this event. This is a breach of the fence, which could increase assimilation in the country.". Did you try to convince the bride and her family? "מספר אנשים דיברו עם הכלה, ללא הצלחה בינתיים. אנחנו ממשיכים לנסות. מדברים גם עם האולם. לא מתייאשים. אם לא תהיה ברירה נגיע ליום ראשון לחתונה". החתן עצמו לא נותר אדיש מול האיומים לארגן הפגנה מול האולם, ושכר 14 שומרים שיאבטחו את האירוע. גם המשטרה דווחה על ההפגנה המתוכננת, ומפקדי התחנה המקומית ישלחו כוחות מיוחדים, כדי למנוע מקרי אלימות.
