Disgraceful disrespect: Hundreds of Hasidim attended the wedding of the grandchildren of the Admors of Darag and Kretshnif this evening (Monday) at the Darag Courtyard Beit Midrash in Bnei Brak, ignoring the instructions of the Ministry of Health and disregarding the strict lockdown.
Inside the closed Beit Midrash hall, the participants celebrated, along with hundreds of children, most of them wearing masks over their faces.
The police, who were called to the scene, arrived at the scene after a report from News 12, dispersed the participants and handed out fines to the organizers.
The police said: During an operational activity by the Bnei Brak police station, the officers arrived at a meeting where a wedding was being held in violation of the Corona regulations. Upon arrival, the forces ordered those present to leave the venue, issued several fines totaling 5,000 NIS to officials, and the event organizer will be summoned for a criminal investigation on suspicion of spreading a disease.
Those present were dispersed by the police within a few minutes and the place was closed when it was empty.

The wedding footage has caused a stir, as these photos come at a time when the number of sick people in the Haredi community is rising dramatically, and many families are dealing with sick family members hospitalized in serious condition, alongside families living in isolation.
PR person Yarach Toker responded: "My children haven't physically left the house for almost a month. The neighbors and friends are very, very careful. When I see the video from Bnei Brak of the dancing Hasidim, I get terrible chills. Just at the time I'm receiving messages about another woman giving birth and another Haredi in critical condition. Sometimes there are simply no words.".
Journalist Yaki Adamker: "Representatives of United Torah Judaism are silent. A shameful silence that will play a part in the next mass violation.".
Commentator Amit Segal: "The Haredi argument in favor of opening Torah schools for ethical reasons is nullified in the face of the outrageous images of huge pirate weddings in Haredi concentrations.
""This is neither Torah nor values, but lawlessness that will harm the celebrants twice: immediately, on the health level when the wedding participants will be rushed to hospitals in a week or two; and later on the political level when their representatives will be rushed to the opposition in the future against the backdrop of the general public's disgust with the lack of leadership and leadershiplessness.".
So the police broke up another mass wedding in Bnei Brak tonight. I'll spare you the pictures from inside and you'll have to make do with this gathering outside. Let's estimate how many tickets were handed out there? My guess: 5,000 shekels for the husband of the bride. The dozens of adults who were there, who violated the Corona regulations and the ban on gatherings, were probably just sent home.
