News 12's senior political commentator, Amit Segal, denies reports that he was censored from the latest panel on 'Ulpan Shishi'. The news company usually records the 'Ulpan Shishi' panel before Shabbat begins, to allow Segal, the Shabbat watcher, to participate in the program broadcast on Shabbat night. Segal was absent from the latest program, and as a result, it was reported that due to a heated confrontation that occurred in the studio between Segal and the other commentators, it was cut in the editing and not broadcast. According to the report, due to this confrontation, it was decided that Segal would not appear on the program. However, Segal himself denies these reports and wrote on his Facebook account: "To the hundreds of people who have contacted me in the past 24 hours: Contrary to the rumors that are blowing wildly on Facebook, it is important for you to know that I was not censored in Ulpan Shishi and was not expelled from it." So maybe sometimes there are differences of opinion. But I will continue to express my opinion just as others express theirs. I sign every word of the following letter: Recall that the person who reported on the studio confrontation was Ran Booker from Ynet, who reported that among the parts that were cut out was a segment in which Amit Segal was asked on the panel about Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s indictment and whether he should resign. According to the report, Segal tried to answer but was not given the opportunity – and Segal even replied angrily: “I am not under investigation or interview here.” Ran Booker quoted sources: “Last week, there was a heated confrontation between him and some of the panel members about the political and legal situation – part of which was cut in the editing.”.
