Baruch Dayan, the truth teller: In the United States, the late Rebbe Shlomo Goldman, son of the late Rebbe Mordechai of Zweihel, son-in-law of the author of "Hashpaa Chaim" of Sanz, and brother-in-law of the Rebbe of Sanz, passed away this morning (Friday, New York time). He suffered a stroke several months ago and since then his health has deteriorated, and this morning he passed away to the heartbreak of his followers and admirers. The Rebbe married 50 years ago to the daughter of the author of "Hashpaa Chaim", who appointed him to head the yeshiva he founded in the city of Union City, New Jersey. After the passing of his father-in-law, the author of "Hashpaa Chaim" was crowned - according to his father-in-law's will - as the Rebbe of Zweihel-Sanz of Union City. Since then, he has headed the Sanz community in the city, and led the Hasidic institutions. He had a special relationship with his brother-in-law, the Rebbe of Sanz. The Rebbe left no children behind. The Rebbe's funeral will leave today at 11 a.m. from his synagogue in Union City, and on Sunday the coffin will arrive in Israel. The funeral in Israel will leave on Sunday evening from the Sanz Great Synod in Jerusalem - towards the Mount of Olives.
