This evening, Rebbetzin Rivka Friedman, mother-in-law of the Rebbe of Bytschkov, passed away at the age of 90. Her husband served as the rabbi of Jaffa.

The Rebbetzin is the mother-in-law of the Rebbe of Bytschkov, who passed away at the beginning of last week.

The righteous rabbi was known for her miraculous acts of kindness and cared for the needy and oppressed, encouraging and strengthening them, both spiritually and financially.

"She was a woman from another generation, modest and pious, who stood at the right hand of her great husband throughout the years so that he could continue to preach Torah to the flocks," say the Bitschkov Hasidic sect.

Following the double mourning, the widow of the Rebbe, Sheva, will be in mourning for an extended period, after she is already in mourning for the passing of her husband, the Rebbe, the late.
