Daniel Mizrahi's story is fascinating: He suffers from cerebral palsy. Despite his condition, he takes the time to emphasize to everyone he meets that the thought of falling into depression or black bile has never crossed his mind. "I don't need pity, I just need you to be exposed to my messages and benefit from them," he says. "Understand that perhaps the paralysis has hurt me, but thanks to it I have learned a thing or two about life and its meaning. Being confined to a wheelchair has helped me understand the world more deeply and see life from a different and unique angle." A few days ago, he was able to fulfill his dream: to reach the Zion of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, zt"l, along with a pair of companions who help him get around and function. "Before I left for New York, I contacted Ze'evi Fried from the famous 'Shira' choir, who, in addition to being a talented musician and an excellent producer, I knew that he was connected with senior figures in the music industry and he promised to bring me together with my favorite artists. "After I traveled to pray for the Rebbe's holy 'Zion,' Ze'evi took me to a series of meetings with all the top Hasidic music in New York. With Avraham Fried, Mordechai Ben David, Yiddish Werdiger, Lipa Schmelzer, Yaakov Shweki and the great composer Yossi Green.". דניאל During the meetings, Daniel presented the artists with songs he had written and they helped him compose them. These melodies will be part of an album that Daniel will produce, called 'Daniel and the Friends 2'. "I am happy that I was able to come to the US. My dream of coming to the Rebbe came true. There is no doubt that the visit to 770 and New York strengthened me and gave me an additional touch to my life. I would like to mention and say a lot of thanks to the 'Ahavat Chesed' organization, which helped me in every detail on my journey to and of course to my family for their support every step of the way.".
