Surprise: Singer Mordechai Ben David's performance with 'The Players' at the Arena - canceled

אלפי בני ישיבות כבר התכוננו להופעה הזו של ענק הזמר החסידי, מרדכי בן דוד, יחד עם תזמורת 'המנגנים' באיצטדיון 'ארנה' בירושלים ב-י' ניסן. ההופעה הייתה אמורה להיות "קומזינג היסטורי", לרגל חגיגת העשור של תזמורת 'המנגנים', בהשתתפות מרדכי בן דוד ומקהלת 'שירה' מארה"ב,  כאשר לצידם היו אמורים להופיע גם הזמרים מנדי ג'רופי, אלי הרצליך, נמואל הרוש ומוטי שטיינמיץ, בליווי התזמורת והמקהלה של 'המנגנים' בניצוחו של המאסטרו מוישי רוט. אלא שהיום, בהפתעה, נודע כי המכירה של הכרטיסים לאירוע הופסקה. מהנהלת 'המנגנים' נמסר לחרדים 10: "ככל אשר יורוך! לאחר שנתקבלו הערות מטעם נציגי גדולי ישראל שליט"א, הננו להודיע כי האירוע שנקבע בהיכל ארנה בי' ניסן בוטל ולא ייערך כמתוכנן. המארגנים". Educator Rabbi Mordechai Blau, chairman of the 'Holy Watch and Education': "Regarding tonight's singing by the Jerusalem Municipality and the idols of the singer, some of whom have defied the great men of Israel all these years, the great men of Israel "We strongly oppose this.
