""Come in Peace" • Single and music video by singer Roy Yedid: A new wedding song

Roy Yedid, 35, is a respected Israeli artist. In addition to sacred songs, he writes and creates original songs that come "from the belly." In his free time, he is the lead singer of the excellent "Enavi HaGefen" band. Now, between winter and spring, at the height of the wedding season, Roy is releasing a new single with a spectacular and thoughtful video clip. "Come in Peace" is a new wedding song based on the lyrics of Lecha Dodi, the melody is "Hatarim" from an existing song overseas. The idea for the song was created by an American bride who asked Roy to perform at her wedding, who wanted to enter the wedding with the melody of the original song in a Jewish interpretation. Thus was born the new song. The result: a beautiful wedding song, which Roy releases to the public in an arrangement that begins minimalist and develops with the song, and in an exciting performance that blends with his velvety voice. Roy is accompanied by members of the Enavi HaGefen band, and this certainly ties in with what Roy Yedid does almost every evening on stages around the country and around the world: to make the bride and groom happy. The new single/clip joins a blessed and rich career in the field of Jewish music: 4 albums to date (2 original albums and 2 as the lead singer of the wedding band 'Enavi HaGefen') and dozens of singles that have become hits on dance floors, in wedding halls and on radio stations in Israel.
